These cards are used by the US Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) to conduct background checks on individuals who wish to purchase firearms. After processing your information and fingerprints, we will create an EFT File, which is sent to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) for a criminal background check. If approved, a firearms license will be issued. However, applications may be denied due to factors such as a previous criminal record.
